Logistics

Meeting Location

The meeting will be held in the Lees-Kubota lecture hall located in 101 Guggenheim Lab on the Caltech campus. (Map) The entrance on the north side of the building closest to the pond.

Parking on Campus

The closest parking lot is the California Blvd. Parking Garage that is located under the athletic field. The garage is south of California, east of Wilson and west of Arden. You may purchase a daily parking pass for $6.00 at the entrance to the garage. As you reach the bottom of the ramp and turn to enter the garage, go straight ahead (head down) and proceed down one level. Do not turn right and park on the top level. Make sure you park in one of the COMMUTER spots (look for a magenta stripe on the ground in front of the parking spot) and display your parking pass. Exit the parking garage and proceed to Guggenheim.

Driving Direction and Other Transportation

• For driving directions to Caltech from either LAX or Burbank airport.
• Caltech has a discount rate agreement with Supershuttle for service to and from LAX or Burbank airports if you have any questions please contact Susan.
• Taxi service to and from LAX is approximately$75-$85 and to and from Burbank is approximately $45-$55, Susan or the staff of the Athenaeum can arrange for taxi service to the airport.
